Now this is fine country livin’ y’all! Little Joe and Haus eat your hearts out--the Ponderosa has nothing on this sprawling 1.32 acre wooded equestrian estate known as Chez ChoCho (Short for the Seminole “Cholocko Choco” but I'm sure you already guessed that), by the local Indians. The main house with its 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, can easily accommodate a family of 5, or 17 or so surly jockeys, and the stables, ah the stables… the envy of even the Lipizzaners, make for a choice abode for two majestic steeds, 17 Shetland ponies or visiting in-laws. Coupled with a tack room, ginormous paddock and separate utility shed, which holds more stuff than you can shake a stick at, they make Chez ChoCho an equestrian’s dream come true. If you don’t already have an equine pal...

...you can always prance around the paddock with your squire and a couple coconut shells, or ideally go see a man about a horse stat!!!

Chez ChoCho's charming old-world country exterior is pleasantly contrasted by its modern newly renovated interior w/ all the bells and whistles you would expect, including vaulted ceilings, tile flooring, an expansive living/dining room, open kitchen with ample cabinet/counter space and breakfast bar (or I guess bar bar depending on the time of day and whether the Mrs. is in town) overlooking the dining area. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet fit for Imelda Marcos and pristine private bathroom fully equipped with water.

Sliding doors off the living area open onto a screened lanai (this is a fancy word for porch btw) and less than OLYMPIC SIZED POOL ensconced in a state-of-the-art force-field guaranteed to ward off leaves, Shetland Ponies, ne'er-do-well pool-hoppers, space invaders, etc.

Now just for a second, close your eyes, take a deep breath (in through the nose... out through the mouth... there you go...), say "Serenity Now!!!" and look at photo 8 (a very auspicious number in China btw). Have you ever seen a more idyllic and verdant scene in your entire life? Ok, well, yes you probably have, but still, at this price? Are you kidding me!? Exactly, so quit complaining already. Really, sometimes there's just no pleasing you!

Anyways, as you can see, Chez ChoCho was built to please both man and horse, and like Secretariat... will go fast!

- Chinese Numerology: The word for "eight" (八 Pinyin: bā) sounds similar to the word which means "prosper" or "wealth" (發 – often paired with "發財" during Chinese New Years, but is used alone or paired with numerous other "compound words" that have a meaning of luck or success, Pinyin: fā). In regional dialects the words for "eight" and "fortune" are also similar, e.g., Cantonese "baat3" and "faat3". The word is also phonetically similar to the word for a hundred (百), alluding to greater wealth. Note as well, this particular symbol matches the mathematical symbol of infinity. While Chinese does have other words for luck, this full understanding of luck that includes the infinity concept marries into a Chinese understanding of this particular word.
- Secretariat: (March 30, 1970 – October 4, 1989) An American Thoroughbred racehorse who, in 1973, became the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years. His record-breaking win in the Belmont Stakes, where he left the field 31 lengths behind him, is widely regarded as one of the greatest races of all time. During his racing career, he won five Eclipse Awards, including Horse of the Year honors at ages two and three. He was elected to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1974.
