My early work history includes aviation and finance. I worked for a commuter airline and cross-trained in every field for five years. I was so intrigued by aviation that I became a private pilot, flying single-engine airplanes. I moved to Florida in 1990 and managed luxury apartments in Boca Raton. Missing the airline lifestyle, I became a flight attendant and was picked to be the senior check flight attendant on the Dole presidential campaign in 1996. After the campaign, I wanted to be self-employed and decided to become a licensed mortgage broker. That led to me starting my own company and hiring 22 mortgage brokers. I purchased five houses across the USA Today; I am a licensed Florida real estate broker associate. I am also a Property and Casualty insurance agent. My interests include animals, bicycling, dancing, organic lifestyle, reading, and swimming.
